Family Friendly is a personal planning assistant for a small group of New York City families. We send each family a short weekend plan by text message, with a calendar link. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you join, you give us only what's needed to make your plan: your name, your mobile phone number, your neighborhood, your children's ages, and a few activity interests. We collect this directly from you during a brief onboarding conversation. We do not collect location data from your device, and we do not track your browsing.
We use your information solely to research, build, and deliver your family's weekend plan, and to send you the occasional time-sensitive event recommendation. Your mobile number is used only to text you these plans and to let you reply to them.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show ads. We use a messaging provider (Twilio) only to deliver the texts you've asked for.
We keep your information only as long as you're an active member. If you opt out or ask us to delete your information, we remove it promptly.
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to view, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us.
